My husband and I went back to Virginia Beach for our 1 year anniversary in February 2013. We had an amazing time. For our anniversary dinner we went to the 11th Street Taphouse. Wonderful food! We didn't take the Fort Story trip but we did go back to the aquarium. We booked a package that included a whale watching trip, but that got canceled due to the wind. Once again it was February and really nice at the beach. There was a little snow but it cleared up fairly quick.
We saw people riding horses on the beach which was definitely a first. It was amazing to see. There was also some weird long black thing in the ocean, not sure what it was?
Around our hotel was the Virginia Legends Walk and it was fun to learn things we may not have known about people from the past.
