I would have liked this to be more of a which website would you choose between the hotel website, booking.com or trivago but honestly it would have booked from booking.com as I have had the best experience with them. Your best option though when booking a hotel is to have an open mind as to not be completely set on a hotel. As you can see Serene Vegas saves you over $30. We actually stayed there in Vegas and it is a really nice hotel. It sits a short walk down from the intersection of Planet Hollywood but if you don't mind a few minute walk to get your day started heading to the strip then this may be your best option.
You want to check different amenities though. Circus Circus offered breakfast during my research booking, Serene didn't. Make sure that $30 you are saving at Serene doesn't catch up with you as you now need to purchase breakfast. $30 for 2 people for 4 breakfasts is about $3.75 per person per breakfast. There is a Dunkin Donuts near Serene but even then you have went over your budget. Check out the fees associated while booking as well. Check resort fees that might not be included in your booking but due at the hotel. What is the cancellation policy?
So if you are looking for the best deal and not set on your dates, try different dates as well, but make sure first and foremost, if you are flying your flight cost doesn't tremendously sky rocket!
My advise would honestly be do a little search, book your flight with the best cost and best dates, THEN book your hotel!
I will be back again with a better research booking soon!
